I stole this from a couple of the other blogs I read. Because I love food.
A: is for Apple, what’s your favorite variety?
This answer is totally going to get my foodie card revoked, but I don't really like apples except for the sweet, presliced, organic kind that are already bagged. Biting into a whole apple (or cutting one up) just doesn't taste the same.
B: is for Bread, regardless of nutrition, calories, or whole grains what is your favorite type to have a nice big piece of?
Something homemade with herbs in it.
C: is for Cereal what is your favorite kind currently (just one!)
I eat Kashi hot cereal (cinnamon and honey) almost every morning with half a cut-up banana and a tablespoon of natural PB in it.
D: is for Doughnuts, you might not currently be eating them but what kind do you fancy?
Original glazed from Krispy Kreme - duh!
E: is for Eggs, how would you like yours prepared?
I can't fry an egg (or bacon) to save my life. I like them fried over-medium if I'm out, but at home I either scramble them or whip 'em into a souffle.
F: is for Fat Free, what is your favorite fat free product?
Sour cream is the first thing that comes to mind. Tastes exactly the same.
G: is for Groceries, where do you purchase yours at?
Publix or Kroger depending on what we need that week. Occasionally Whole Foods if I need something that I can't find somewhere else (or really good cheese)!
H: is for Hot Beverages, what is your favorite hot drink?
Homemade spicy mochas (based on Giada DeLaurentiis' recipe)
I: is for Ice Cream, pick a favorite flavor and add a fun topping.
Peanut Butter and Chocolate from Baskin Robbins. No topping needed!
J: is for Jams or Jellies, do you eat them, and if so what kind and flavor?
I don't just eat them, I can make them! For homemade, strawberry is a big hit in our household and so is fig. I don't eat much storebought, but Josh likes apple or grape jelly for his PBJs.
K: is for Kashi, name your favorite Kashi product?
Their hot cereal, mentioned above.
L: is for Lunch, what was yours today?
Leftover pasta salad from Memorial Day, Lean Cuisine Thai Spring Rolls (200 calories and delicious), and a Special K protein shake.
M: is for microwave, what is your favorite microwave meal/snack?
I honestly don't use it for much more than heating up leftovers or frozen stuff for lunch.
N: is for nutrients, do you likes carbs, fats, or proteins best?
I find I crave a lot of protein.
O: is for oil, what kind do you like to use?
Olive or canola.
P: is for protein, how do you get yours?
Peanut butter, protein shakes, beans and lean meats
Q: is for Quaker, how do you like your oats?
In no-bake cookies.
R: is for roasting, what is your favorite thing to roast?
Veggies - any kind.
S: is for sandwich, what’s your favorite kind?
Josh makes the best sandwiches, so preferably a turkey and cheese one made by him with some sriracha!
T: is for travel, how do you handle eating while traveling?
I eat things I can't normally get where I live (like fresh seafood or Tim Horton's!)
U: is for unique, what is one of your weirdest food combos?
I love salad with blue cheese and dried cranberries with a balsamic vinagrette. I don't think it's that odd, but it makes Josh want to puke on many levels.
V: is for vitamins, what kind do you take?
I usually forget to take them, but I do try to eat healthy, so I get a lot of nutrients in my food. When I take vitamins, I get a multi without calcium in it, or I'll have kidney stone issues in a heartbeat!
W: is for wasabi, yay or nay?
Yay, in moderation
X: is for XC Foodie, why is she so awesome?
I don't know who that is, but I am sure she is a nice girl.
Y: is for youth, what food reminds you of your childhood?
My mom's homemade strawberry jam. We never bought jelly!
Z: is for zucchini, how do you prepare it?
99% of the time we roast whatever veggies we have.
This is awesome and totally adorable! Sriracha is definitely my most beloved condiment! I might just have to be a copy cat and steal this survey from you! =)
